Error - Cannot redeclare class CRM_Core_ClassLoader

I am trying to move a functioning Drupal 7/CiviCRM 4.4.3 site from one sub domain to the www domain. I have deleted the Config Backend field in the table civicrm_domain, deleted template_c and ConfigAndLog directories. When I rty to access the site I get the above error. The detail is:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class CRM_Core_ClassLoader in /home/quins/www/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/ClassLoader.php on line 36

Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it?

check and see if u have two copies of civicrm under your drupal directory which is: /home/quins/www (or /home/quins/www/www)

most likely that is the case

In case anyone else finds this in a search, I had the same thing and found an answer here related to a variable set in Drupal's variable table.
