If event participant name+email found in DB, pull in address for registration

I like the fact that registrants don't have to create a 'login'/password; I think people are quite tired of keeping track of passwords!  I wonder whether anyone else would like a feature that, if enabled, would look for the entered name and email (so these would be required entry fields for online registration) and if found, would pull in the associated street address, city, state, etc.   so that users don't need to type that in again?
If this sounds like a useful feature to some other, I will do this and contrib back.

might want to look at the checksum feature that is part of civicrm, i.e. associate a contact record via a checksum token without logging in.

the main issue about name/email and pulling up the record is that is is relatively easy to guess. i..e the security is minimal.  most sites that use something like that also use something a wee bit more secure like birthday year or month

Thanks for telling me about that checksum feature; I see that trolls/whatever could type in some bogus email and matching name and happen on a real contact; and in fact, it may upset/annoy users to see that 'we' are saving their location info.
