Including "groups" in export field mapping

Hi all,
Apologies if I've overlooked this in my forum/documentation searches.

I am working to export Activity data, and would like to include a column for the groups to which my contacts have been assigned.
Groups are included in the Primary fields mapping but many of most important custom fields are not.

How can I add groups to a custom field mapping?

If its not currently there, i suspect the code for that is not yet implemented. If you are a developer or have access to one, might want to get them to take a look
