Hello All, does anyone know how to change the contribute button in all contribution pages to 'Submit'. Sometimes its not appropriate because when someone is doing a free signup, the button still says contribute. It willbe better to have it say "Submit' as this will work for both contribution, paid  and free signups.

It sure replaced a lot very effectively. Am not sure though if it will replace the text of the Contribute button. Or what do you think? Thanks all thesame.

I did the substitution with the exact match. So chances are at least lower that you mess up a text by chance.

Before I learnt about the text replacement feature, I spent hours for finding out how I could replace the not exact German translation of "Contribute" "Spenden" (donate). You can't easily edit the localisation files, since they are in binary format. Then I installed a template, which in principle works, but I couldn't figure out where to change the contribute button. I still think the best solution would be to let the user change the text directly in the admin section for the contribution page, as there are several cases in which "contribute" doesn't fit, let alone the somehow wrong, but at least too much narrowing translation "Spenden" (donate).

Note that if you use a translated interface you must nevertheless replace "Contribute" and not the translation that you don't like, otherwise the replacement doesn't work.
