Synchronize Users to Contacts
January 07, 2014, 03:41:27 am
After importing, does civicrm check the dedupe rule for doing the synchronization of drupal users to contacts?

I'm asking this because it used to work previously for my test data but doesn't seem to be working now.

I am suspecting it uses the supervised or unsupervised rule since that is the one thing that I changed since then. Can anyone confirm this?

ok, tested a few things and found out that the drupal user import process does take into account the dedupe rules.

I set a very strict rule and duplicate contacts are created during the import process.

Have to set it to "email only" during the import so that the drupal users will be matched to existing contacts.
