Please change release compatibility info for CiviDiscount extension
January 08, 2014, 10:26:55 am
https://civicrm.org/extensions/cividiscount-extension
Version 2.1    Mar 11 2013    Stable    CiviCRM 4.2 - 4.3

Does not work w/ 4.2LTS. The CiviDiscount admin screen does not show any select Event box. So you can't select an Event - so you can never get a discount on the Event Registration form.

I'm not expecting anyone to debug/fix this - but please update the compatibility info so others will not be trying to get this to work.

Can you check if your events are marked public.

Event is open to public (anonymous) for online registration:
https://secure.abcee.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=40

Are you saying it needs to be checked as Public Event in Config as in "Include this event in iCalendar feeds?"

Yep - that's it. Now I see the Event select box on the CiviDiscount admin screen. And there it is on the Event registration page.

I totally misunderstood public here - still don't understand the logic - but this will now get ACEE the functionality they were looking for.

Thanks Kurund!
