I am on civi 4.3.7 with Drupal 7.16

I am able to send mail through both Drupal and Ubercart, with Civi I can't even use  "Save and send teat email".  Yoiu get the popup the email was sent but nothing is received. The mail is properly logged. it happens with Mail(), Sendmail even giving it a different mail server.
Been trying to find some common code, but I have been unsuccessful. My test system runs fine but not production. It may have started with the upgrade to civi 4.3.7
