Migrate data from a very old Civi version

I have an old Joomla 1.5.X installation with a very old 3.2.2 CiviCRM. I want to migrate all the data from this version to a brand new Joomla 3.2.1 and CiviCRM 4.X

Is the a very good description to how I do that and I love shotcuts :-)

The docs are under export and import and are standard: http://en.flossmanuals.net/civicrm/ch019_importing/ There no shortcut that I know of, nor can all data be transferred via this method.

Did you try to upgrade the site? Sometimes the upgrader "just works" and is the best shortcut....

Thanks for the answer.

I'm going to do the export - import the hard way.

Sorry, I don't belive in upgrading from J1.5/Civi2.3 to J3.2/Civi4.X  :'(
