datatable+jeditable=awesome

Hi,

I needed an excel like editor. I tried first slickgrid, but the common model is to do nothing or something stupid by default, needs to find among the dozen of options and extra plugin code, write tiny bits of custom code boilercode wrapper, and hit a wall to do the extra 5% missing (in the allowed timeframe).

Anyway, I'm sure it's really nice if you need to handle tons of rows, but that wasn't my use case. I went back to jeditable

Right now, the code is highly specific to my use case (eg it assumes custom fields). I'm going to try to add something generic soonish (probably to mange the list of participants)

The only comment I've had is that is isn't obvious you need to press enter/escape to save/cancel the change. Not sure how to fix that UI problem.

Basically, it's a head up, something coming and the code is there ;)
