I am getting the following error when trying to migrate from 4.2.14 to 4.3

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in CRM/common/jquery.files.tpl line 1]: [plugin] could not load plugin file 'block.crmScope.php' (core.load_plugins.php, line 118) in /var/www/vhosts/dev2.thsc.org/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/civicrm/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1093

I have had to try a step-wise migration all the way from 4.2.2 as a straight upgrade to 4.4.3 fails as well.

In the current situation however, CiviCRM does not even load in wordpress dashboard.  I just get a white screen.  4.2.14 loads just fine.

When I turn on Debug in wp_config.php, then I see the above error.


Environment is as follows:
Version   Parallels Plesk Panel v10.4.4_build1013120126.11 os_CentOS 5
OS   Linux 2.6.32-042stab078.28
PHP Version 5.3.3

Could use some useful pointers.
