receipts based on contribution type

Is there any simple way of having different receipts based on the contribution type? The organisation I am with has a situation where multiple organisations have donations and contributions come through one front end but they each need to have different receipts and the logical simple way would be contribution type but not sure if its doable.

You can stick if then logic in the receipts around contribution type - beware - it gets renamed to financialtype in 4.4
