Diaries in CiviCRM
January 20, 2014, 07:10:55 am
Hi gang,

So if one was setting up a new Civi instance, and wanted an ongoing diary not related to any individual, what would the best way to do that be?

In Drupal I imagine that one could use a 'content type', but what about in WordPress?

Thanks,

WordPress is actually made for blogging no? Isn't a blog a diary?

Kind of - but this is for internal use. I'm thinking for something like a communal building, where you might want to document things like "tonight the boiler broke, food was excellent let's order from them again, otherwise quiet".

If it's just for staff, you could use notes or create a custom activity type.
