Upgrading 3.4 to 4.4
January 20, 2014, 12:59:34 pm
I'm trying to upgrade a Drupal 6 site from CiviCRM 3.4.0 to 4.4.3  I've tried lots of permutations (4.1 first, 4.2 first, etc) but all have met with errors during the database update.  So, I'm finally resorting to asking for help.

When I try to upgrade to 4.4.3, the database upgrade stalls at this screen:
Quote
CiviCRM Upgrade Tasks
                    Operating in off-line mode.
                                  [retry]   [skip]
I've tried this with clearing templates_c, theme set to Garland, no change.
Any suggestions would be most welcome, thank you!

How far have you managed to get? Have you been able to upgrade to 4.1 without errors? 4.2?
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Coleman, thanks.

None of my upgrade attempts have succeeded, I'm still at 3.4.0.
