Cannot access CiviCRM 4.4.3 on Joomla 3.2.1 after Install
January 22, 2014, 03:51:55 pm
Just installed CiviCRM 4.4.3 on Joomla 3.2.1 -- Successfully Installed but logged in as Super User and CiviCRM appears in the dropdown under "Components" but when selected I get "The website cannot display the page" (HTTP Error 500) and the url is: http://mywebsite/administrator/index.ph ... om_civicrm

I get the same thing on the Control Panel where CiviCRM appears under "Extensions"

Did I miss something as far as the path and if so where do I change it.
Or could this be a htaccess problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you check the server logs for an error message?

The only LOG I can view does not show an error. I did notice a "zipped" file named "civicrm.zip" in the /administrator/components/com_civicrm Directory. Should this file have been unzipped during the install process?
