Soap Configuration - Joomla
April 20, 2008, 11:51:57 pm
Hi,

Our CiviCRM is installed on Joomla! I have created a user with super admin in Joomla! and provided the username and password as the soap user in the settings page (https://civismtp.uas.coop/drupal/civismtp/account).
This is the message I receive when I test the settings:
Civimail User Check : it appears that the proxy URL that you gave is invalid

The URL to the soap.php file is correct.

Am I doing it in the right way?

when I go to your soap proxy I see this error:

Fatal error: Class 'SoapServer' not found in /home/strike/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/extern/soap.php on line 33

You need to install the soap libraries for your php.

peace,

-Shane

Thanks Shane,

Two questions:
1- Did I do the right procedure? Joomla! user as soap user?
2- Is the library called SOAP::Lite?

Thanks

I had to enable SOAP::lite for PHP5, now it's all green :)

Thanks
