Deduping and contact import issue

Hello:
 I imported some contacts using a .csv file a week or so ago and now each of them shows up as duplicates when I try to dedupe my database. I'm using the "Individual Strict-In Build" rule, which I've found to be fairly reliable in the past. Any help would be appreciated.

do you want help on finding and deleting the contacts you imported (eg using Adv Search and 'change log' with date you created them)

or help on understanding why you expected 'update existing contacts' did not work. if so you would need to supply more detail i think about the csv content etc
