can I update CiviCRM 3.2.3 straight to CiviCRM 4.4.0

Hello,

I have just inherited a drupal 6.15 site still running 3.2.3  ???

can I upgrade straight to 4.4.0

or do i need to do it more incrementally, if so

can I upgrade to the last version of 3 and then to the first version of 4 then to 4.4.0, or

can  I upgrade to the last version of 3.2 then the first version of 3.3 then the last version of 3.3 then the first version of 3.4 then the last version of 3.4 and so on, or

do i need to run the upgrade of every version released to get to 4.4.0

(wanting to get the civi version up to date and working before upgrade to drupal 7)

thanks in advance for your experience and advice

Jumping that many versions can be messy sometimes.
BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP.
Try going to 4.1 first and then to 4.4. That should work.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
