No matter what CiviCRM won't install
January 28, 2014, 09:18:01 am
I'm new to CiviCRM, sort of new to Joomla 3 but familiar with Joomla in general. I'm trying to install CiviCRM on a fresh install of Joomla 3.2.1 with php 5.4.24 and installing the zip file, nothing happens. When I try to install from my tmp directory I get the Joomla xml install file can not be found message. Please help.
Thank you

You haven't given many details. What have you tried so far?
For example have you read the instructions?
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

I don't know what fixed it but I got it, I re-unzipped it into the tmp directory and tried one more time and it worked. Thanks,
