Using CiviCRM for class registration
January 31, 2014, 12:54:09 pm
Hello,

I'm trying to use CiviCRM for a non-profit sport club. Each year, before september, the members can register to one course. They can select 2 courses (in order of preference) and the membership is validated once they are affected to a course.

I expected this documentation page to help me, but it is "under construction".
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Using+CiviCRM+for+class+registration

Can anyone point me to a documentation that could help me ?

Thanks.

I think the page you are trying to access was about a technical (programming) class rather than a school class :-)
But you should be able to do what you are trying to achieve with CiviCRM. You would need to create two events, and create the online registration page for the evets. Which CMS are you using? Because you would probably have to add a web page that allows the member to select one of the two events. Have you looked at the CiviCRM user guide at http://book.civicrm.org/user/?
