No update of phonenumbers

When i Editing and Saving contact's phone number it returns "Network Error
Unable to reach the server. Please refresh this page in your browser and try again."

On using the contact regular edit (not inline) it returns DB Error as follows.
"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
DB Error: insufficient permissions

Return to home page."

I searched the Forum and found a link to upgrade the db:
http://www.kolping-heustreu/administrator/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1

But there is also an error "CiviCRM-001"

Any Help?

CiviCRM 4.4.3 first Instalation/ no update
Joomla 2.5.17

@edit Also import phonenumbers from .csv dont work  :-[

It sounds like your sql is slightly misconfigured - your sql user does not have permission to create triggers or functions.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

Now my Provider update me to creat triggers, but not to create functions. :-(
Is the a way to use CiviCrm? maybe in a older version?

I'm having the same issue. I do have permissions to create triggers and functions. This is with the latest version 4.4.4 on Joomla. All other edits and adds seem to work fine, just not phone numbers. THis is the case with both the quick add function as well as the full edit function. Neither one will take phone numbers.  Any other things I should take a look at?

Turn on debug backtrace in the civi admin settings and then try saving a phone number again. You'll get a nice backtrace that tells what happened. Most likely a mysql permission error.

Strangely enough, the log was showing that my db user didn't have rights to drop the routine. I confirmed in cpanel that I did have. I removed all of my rights for that db user account and then restored them. Thanks for the help!
