Automatic relationships with Organization Membership
February 03, 2014, 06:20:14 pm
Hi,

I have temporarily taken over maintenance on a Drupal site running CiviCRM with no experience in either (much more experience working with WordPress). I recently upgraded Drupal but began having problems with CiviCRM but resolved almost all of them by fixing a dumb little mistake I made (forgot to switch the drupal DB in the civicrm_settings.php file).

Now that you have a little background, the biggest lingering problem is that when someone signs up for an Organizational Membership, it used to create 3 relationships: The default Employee/Employer of along with 2 new relationships (Member Employee and Primary Contact). For some reason it has stopped automatically adding the the 2 custom ones that the guy who originally set up the site added.

I have seen from my research this isn't a default set up so my real question is what module could have done this or if there is some site hack he added to the core that did this (wouldn't be surprised if this was it).

Thanks

hi- expect it is using a post process hook and wonder if this gives you some pointers as to how others may have tackled this that might lead you to finding the relevant code

Did the issue with the failure to create the additional two relationships start happening after the Drupal upgrade?

Yes it was right after the upgrade that we started to notice the problem.
