Preferred communication method

I am using civi 4.4.3,
How Can I import the "Preferred communication method" items Please? Cant seem to find it in the manual.
I tried like this "phone,email,postal mail", doesn't work.

UPDATE: it does not import even on demo site.

A hint that often helps is to see how civi Exports that info, and then use same approach to import, but it could also be that the import is expecting the Values rather than the labels
