CiviCRM 4.4.4 Wordpress not installing to WP 3.8.1
February 11, 2014, 11:01:37 am
Wanting to explore CiviCRM, I fired up MAMP 2.0.5, upgraded my WP installation to 3.8.1 and then installed the latest version of CiviCRM for Wordpress in the Plugins directory.  All was OK until I activated CiviCRM.  The Settings CiviCRM Installer content area is blank.  If I try to edit an existing post or page, the content area is blank but the pages and posts load correctly for viewing.  Only the page and post admin functions are affected.  When I Deactivate CiviCRM, posts and pages can again be edited.

Any suggestions?  Apart from reinstalling an earlier version of WP and/or CiviCRM, I can see no way forward.

Hi
There are no php errors in the apache_error.log file as per today's extract below.
The actions to generate the log was to: start MAMP this morning; access wordpress/wp-admin/plugins.php; activate the civiCRM plugin; go to Settings-CiviCRM Installation.  A blank settings content area was displayed.  No error messages.

BTW, the issue occurs in Chrome, Safari and Firefox browsers.

May be enable try error reporting in MAMP, check http://gilbert.pellegrom.me/enable-php-error-reporting-in-mamp/

It might give more info about white screen.
