what is record_type_id?
February 11, 2014, 09:29:26 pm
In the table "civicrm_activity_contact."  Mysql tells me that it is "the record type id for this row."

It varies between 1 and 3.  2 and 3 seem to specify source and target of some activity, respectively.  But does does a value of 1 signify?

Thanks.  Apologies if I posted this in the wrong topic forum.

The record type ID 1 indicates that the contact is the activity assignee.

Value      Type
===================
1            Activity Assignees
2            Activity Source
3            Activity Targets

Hope this helps.

Rajesh,

Thanks for the breakdown.

Which table are those values stored?
Are there ever anymore record_type_id than the three listed?

Warm Regards,
Chris

I am not sure but I would assume it is an option value (civicrm_option_value and civicrm_option_group)
