New icons for VISA/Mastercard not showing on contribution pages

I recently upgraded my database from CiviCRM 4.3.8 to 4.4.4.  However, the new feature for contribution pages and pad events that lets the visitor click the icon for VISA/MasterCard/etc is not showing.   The contribution page still looks the same as it did under version 4.3.8

I have already cleared the CiviCRM cache, and also deleted all the files under /sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c

What else should I try?

Editing the contribution page and/or price set in some minor way, and saving it.  Then reload the page.
