Same bid as the previous post. Has any further work been done on the Pledge component:

If not, and we end up working on this project, we would probably build the offline component. Is there an existing component that could be modeled when writing this. My first thought would be CiviContribute, but it has all the support for payment processors that might get in the way. Perhaps CiviMember instead.

No work has been done on pledges. However we just recd the go ahead for the pledgebank module described here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/PledgeBank+Component+for+CiviCRM. Not directly related to pledges, but there is some correlation there. we'll have formal specs for this on the wiki sometime over the next few weeks
