Blank page after contribution is submitted

I'm using Drupal 7, CiviCRM 4.4, Amazon Web Services, and an Autorize.net test credit card account. Whenever a user makes a contribution or registers for an event the payment goes through but the confirmation page is blank. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I have seen this sort of behaviour when there is something wrong with the code in a customised receipt.  (mismatched tags)

If you are using a customised receipt, save a copy of the content and revert to the default receipt and see if the problem persists.

Once I turned off email receipts all worked! I'll troubleshoot when I get a chance. Thanks!
