How can I actually get the plugin on the front page?
February 20, 2014, 06:07:15 am
Hello, I installed Civicrm on Wordpress. However, I can only use the Civicrm plugin in editing mode of the wordpress webite, which can't be right. How can I actually get the plugin on the front page?

Thanks!

It depends on what you want on the front page of your Website. Many functions such as event registrations, contribution forms, membership form can all be displayed on the front end of your site. You will need to set them up in the back end and then you can drop CiviCRM elements into a page (there is a button on above the content editor) or CiviCRM will drop content into front end pages based on your default template or a custom template page provided you setup Online Registration for example with an event.

You can also create custom profiles and display them on WordPress pages.

If there is a particular feature you are looking for on the front end please post the details.

Thanks

BT
