Advanced search name field issue [Fixed, ty]
February 25, 2014, 08:59:19 am
Hi, we're having an issue when using advanced search. Whenever we go to the advanced search page, the "Complete or partial name" field is already filled out with "admin". We've tried deleting it, resetting the form and logging in and out (the user name is not even admin) but it's still there. If we delete it and then choose our criteria, we get the proper results but, since it reloads the form to show the results, the admin shows up again. Then if we try to export, it includes admin as a name criteria and we can't export anything because our results don't have match now.

Has anyone else run into this? Any thoughts? Thanks!

That sounds like it may be a browser issue rather than CiviCRM - for instance, someone has an auto-fill form set, or a saved password that's being a bit too aggressive.

If you log into CiviCRM from a browser that's never been used to access CiviCRM, do you have the same problem?

Jon, that was it! We use a password keeper program and it is trying to fill in this field with a related login.

Thank you so much!
