when creating Joomla menu links to events - only 25 appear

We are creating Joomla menu links to 85 different civi-events.  Only 24 events appear in the Joomla (Basic) Select Event window. Where do I increase this setting? We are using Joomla 1.5.2 / CiviCRM 3.4.5, and we seem to have encountered a limit, but I can not figure out where it is set.  Thank you in advance!

Are you using the civicrm api? The default limit for api.get is 25. You can increase it by passing in a limit param.
