Register Multiple Participants With Different Prices?
February 26, 2014, 11:17:09 pm
I'm guessing someone has figured this out since it's a daily situation for event holders, so I apologize in advance for what I've missed…

A person wants to register 3 people for an event. 2 adults and one child. Adult pricing and child pricing are different normally.

I can see how to register multiple participants, but they all seem to be forced to a single price. How can one person register 2 adults at $20 each and one child at $10 in one transaction?

Thanks in advance!
Dave

In the event pricing you should be able to put two pricing options in the fee section of the event. Create one for the adult and one for the child. Then when someone registers multiple people they will have to make a pricing selection for each registrant. The other option is to create a custom price set if you need more info then just the registration fee (i.e. meals, etc.).

Hope this helps

BT

Thanks a bunch. It appears that doing this requires each event to be distinctly registered instead of using the Shopping Cart function correct?

If you have recurring events that are similar you can create a template for the event. This will save all the settings (profiles, pricing, etc. ) then just create new events from a template. You will only have to edit the dates, time & location if different.
