Testing a schedule reminder
February 27, 2014, 03:41:59 am
I am managing one of our events through CiviCRM for the first time.  I have just created a scheduled reminder to be sent a week or so before the event.  Is there any way I can test it, similar to sending a test mailing, as I would like to make sure it looks OK and the tokens work as I'm hoping they should.

As an aside, after completing the reminder, I went back into it to see if it offered any test options, and it wouldn't let me open the plain text version - any reason for this?

Thanks
Anna

Hi Anna  - i don't think there is - can you clone the EVent, register yourself, set up the scheduled reminder so you get it - would that qualify as 'testing'?
