Civi/Drupal Calendar Not Syncing with Google

Hi all,

We have had ongoing problems with syncing our Civi/Drupal calendar with Google Calendar.  But, as of six months ago, we had it working.  Now, the sync is not taking, once again.  Using Civi 4.3 and 4.4.  The method is:
1.  Copy calendar link url
2.  Go to Google Calendar and add an additional calendar via the url
(this all works fine and the calendar and events are added)
3.  Go into Civi and add a new event to the public calendar (adds fine)
4.  The new event DOES NOT appear/sync to the Google Calendar

We have many customers who need this feature to work consistently.  Any ideas/thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you find a solution to this? I'm looking for a similar answer. I think it has something to do with google not refreshing the link right away, but I don't know how to force it to do so.

Also - I'm using Joomla

Ah - sorry for the second message. It says here:
https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37100?hl=en

Note: It may take up to 8 hours for changes in ICS feeds to reflect in your Google Calendar.

So I will check in 8 hours and hopefully it will work. 8)
