Event location = address of existing contact?
March 10, 2014, 10:14:30 am
I was wondering why it's not possible to select the address of an existing contact for the location of an event.
Was this ever considered?

I would find it useful to create a contact for the event venue, so I can store the name, address, phone number...
And then on the event page select this contact as the event location.

Well you can select the location of another event. So you don't have to enter it again after entering it once.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
