PayPal Undefined Index Errors
March 12, 2014, 11:28:56 am
I have created a contribution page and I have setup Paypal as the payment processor. Whenever a contribution is setup on the live or test page I get the following errors when being returned from Paypal to confirm the payment and the next error occurs once the payment is confirmed and the user is show the thank you page. It looks like the error references various fields, is the issue that these fields are no defined on the form that donors have filled out? Attached is copy of the donation page profile, error on payment confirmation screen, and the error once the payment has been confirmed. The contributions seem to be hitting PayPal and showing in Civi.

These notices are not actually errors. They are letting you know that you haven't supplied all the information the payment processor was expecting, but the missing information is not critical as the payment still completed correctly.

The usual recommendation is to turn off warnings for production sites.

You haven't include your Drupal version number in your profile. On my Drupal 7 site I can do that at Configuration >development>logging and errors

If you are experiencing these on the latest version of CiviCRM you should log a ticket (& do what JoAnne says). These are slowly being fixed - but should not be allowed to be visible on production sites

I have issues too.  Is there a good way to tag or label these bugs?
