You need to provide more information.  Do you mean an instant in time (2014-03-25 14:52:11) or a time interval (2-4 pm) or elapsed time (2 hours)?  What is your use case?

Hello,

It is for a custom field, so users can choose a callback time for clients.
So is there some way to get a field just for time, or do i have to use a default text field with 08:00..

What is the best way to do this?

so you are wanting to just collect the time but no date?

not afaik - the most stripped down would be a custom date field with just yyyy

see in the Constituent Info block at bottom of eg http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=202

so I set default year of 2014 but at least you get a real time format field
