I have a new issue that has crept up today.

All my message templates are present and can be view and edited in Mailings --> message templates.
When creating a new mail the template does not load in the editor.
If I re-use and old mailing it displays fine

cPanel was upgraded last night to use MySQL 5.6 it could be linked.
Are the db-tools (V1.2) safe to use with 4.4.4

Anyone has any insights

Quick update to my issue.

I have compared the table _msg_template to the schema and it is 100%
The sample CiviCRM template also loads without any problems in the editor.

Just the user created one not. it seems from the behaviour the editor does not refresh with the selected template (unless it is the CiviCRM sample one)

Bit of a monologue thread but anyway it was solved!

After exploring every single avenue - I deleted the template_c folder content --> Sorted
