Is anyone using the: Extended Logging Report Extension?

I've been looking at the audit logs and there is a quite a bit of useful information to see trending and activity.  Tried to install https://civicrm.org/extensions/extended-logging-report but ran into some errors and not sure exactly what it does, if it should work with 4.4 or if functionality has been subsumed in core.  I have not had much success using search criteria in contact logging reports - hope I didn't break anything testing this module.... :o

am sure eileen will answer - but https://civicrm.org/extensions/extended-logging-report says compatible with 4.2 doesn't it?
