Replace a system word. for example Current Employer to Company
March 16, 2014, 09:56:38 am
Is it possible to change some names in the forms?

So for this example i would like to change the name Current Employer into Company. What is the best way to do this?

Thanks :)

depending which forms. If you are talking about public forms (eg a contribution page), it is usually through profile that these fields are defined, and you can change their label.

Have you tried Administer -> Customize Data & Screens -> Word Replacements

Reading the jQuery manual would be more effective than shooting in the dark - your jQuery doesn't work because you're not using it correctly.

But actually word replacements work fine here. Did you forget to check the "enabled" box to turn it on?
See attached screenshot to see it working fine.

Hello Coleman,

Thanks for you reply,
I allready tried that.. And this is a forum so if you are trying for a view hours and wont work, search the internet, bought a book. etc. I think you can post a question.. (sometimes the problem is a # or ' ..)

But whats the problem.. So someone else can use the solution to...

This: If you use a different language, for Word Replacement, you have to use the Original word (English).

Everyone thanks!

PS. i shall read the information from your link.
