Problem with token contact.state_province
March 17, 2014, 05:45:30 am
We have been implementing CiviCRM over the past month on our Joomla website.  We have had relatively few issues, but this problem has forced me to the forums here for help.

I went to print mailing labels this morning for one of our groups, and every single mailing label left the state off the label.  I have checked the setup for the Address labels in the Admin settings, and it correctly shows the following:

{contact.addressee}
{contact.street_address}
{contact.supplemental_address_1}
{contact.supplemental_address_2}
{contact.city}{, }{contact.state_province}{ }{contact.postal_code}

However - the last line simply contains the City, the comma, space, and then then the postal code.  For example:

Kingfield, 04947

When I look at the contact details, the state is listed correctly in the field.  I have done nothing with custom fields at this point that might have altered that (at least to my knowledge), so I'm stumped.

Can anyone point me to the right direction?

Thanks!

Brian.

This is a known issue that is fixed in 4.4.5.

If you can't wait until that is released see http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-14198  for patches.
