Cannot create .pdf letters

Using Civi 4.4.4
Joomla 2.2.18

There is no option under Administer, "Administer >> Configure >> PDF Page Formats" as described in the documentation at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Configure+PDF+Page+Formats

I can find the option to configure .pdf formats on the admin page with all config links, but the link
» Print Page (PDF) Formats

returns the following error

"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
You do not have permission to access this page

Return to home page."

I understand that I should be able to create a printed mail merge in CIVI, but this doesn't work for me.

Appreciate any help.

That menu path is wrong - try Administer -> Communications -> Print Page (PDF) Formats. If you still get the permission message, ensure you're an administrator?

I'll go fix that wiki page menu path!

Thanks for the quick reply. I am administrator but I'll double check the permissions settings....

The only user permissions I can see are Joomla Access control settings. As a Super Admin I have access to everything unrestricted.

This is the link to the .pdf set up option. Is there an error here?

Edit.... It appears that every link from the admin console under 'communication' is returning an error. I'm suspecting corrupt files from the last upgrade. Will check that.

Solved... mostly.
Using Administer -> Communications -> Print Page (PDF) Formats as suggested it works. But using "Administer -> Administration Console and clicking » Print Page (PDF) Formats gives an error page. Looks like the admin console is just full of bad links... so is there a problem with my CIVI install?
