Chart results for CiviPetition
March 19, 2014, 12:55:49 pm
I asked this question under CiviPetition and it was suggested I ask it here instead.

I'm looking to get CiviPetition results in percentages and chart form for various questions. Is there a custom report somewhere I can download to do this? It seems like this is the whole point of CiviPetition is to get numbers like these.

The end results should look something like this for a petition:

Do you drink coffee?
Yes. 123 votes (67%)
No. 32 votes (24%)
Zzzz. 55 votes (12%)

Show in pie chart form.

Where would I start?

At the moment , unless you have coding skills, I think you will need to export the results and use a spreadsheet program such as Excel to get your percentages and Pie charts.

And BTW I hope you just made up those figures without thinking  - they don't make sense.

Hi,

This seemed like a pretty straight forward option to add to the activities pivot chart in the extended reports extension https://github.com/eileenmcnaughton/nz.co.fuzion.extendedreport

The pic shows the settings I used & how it looked- I didn't do any more than a quick look at them so not sure what they represent - it doesn't look like 'survey' is a filter option in that report at the moment

Thanks for the replies!

Clearly I've resisted learning PHP long enough and if I am going to administer CiviCRM I need coding skills.

Is there a community repo somewhere for custom reports? It seems like it would be a good idea.

well - there is https://civicrm.org/extensions - but you might be able to get what you want by installing the custom report
