Drupal Commons events, merge with CiviCRM events
March 21, 2014, 05:28:38 am
It exists some module/extension, to do a merge with Drupal Commons events, and CiviCRM events? i've been able to sync contacts and groups with OG sync, and civicrm_commons module, but I can't find anything to merge events.

not sure how you would go about this best - but google my colleague eileen's work on civicrm entities - that would probably be the closest to doing something like 'everytime we create an event create a drupal entity' or perhaps her work with civicrm and drupal rules.

otherwise i think a way back i tried to figure how to use eg Views to pull both drupal and civi events in to a listing and failed.

that said, i am not totally clear what your desired outcome of a 'merge' would look like so perhaps you can expand on that a bit.

Thank you for your support, I'm doing this with Drupal rules. In "merge", I was trying to explain that, both events (content type on drupal, and civicrm events) react to eachother, then if I create some events on the Drupal site with the content type "event", the CRM create automatically the same event on it. With OG sync, I can create groups on my site, and then, display this groups on my CRM. I wanted something similar and I've could do it with Drupal Rules.

have you looked at eileen's entities module?
