PHP memory limit requirements for the latest CiviCRM
March 27, 2014, 06:15:01 am
Greetings,

What should the minimum memory limit be for PHP with D6 and the latest CiviCRM? Likewise for D7 and the latest CiviCRM?

I have had 128M for the PHP memory_limit value with D6 and CiviCRM 3.4.8 in our production environment. D6 an CiviCRM 4.4.4 appear to want to use more memory as I am seeing in the Apache error file for the site notes about not being able to allocate memory. Thus, it seems with moving from CiviCRM 3.4.8 up to the latest CiviCRM, that setting will have to be increased.

I am wondering what settings others are finding appropriate.

I am thankful,

200 MB works for many, but it depends a lot on the rest of the server configuration also.
