Bounce handling -
April 01, 2014, 11:43:37 am
I am driving my self slightly crazy -
I have two instances of civi running on different hosts
they both use mail () as the email process - and both send mail just fine.. it is the bounce handling that is strange

on system A the return path is stuffed with the true from (reply to) address contactus@domaina.org  and the bounce and unsub are the correct mailhand+zzzzzzzz@domaina.org
on that domain bounce handling is not working .. and for whatever reason the mail handler @domnaina is dumping all the bounces

On system B the return path matches the bounce handling address and the bounce handling works perfectly --

How do I get system A to match system B  the mail handling settings are as far as I can see identical....

Thanks

Josh

I figured out a work around for system A.  I set the bounce email and the send email to the same ... and it worked --

not sure why the two different system return different return paths... but all is good for the moment ..

thanks

josh
