Missing tokens in CiviMail
April 01, 2014, 03:42:37 pm
Hi!

I have a bunch of tokens that don't appear in CiviMail Insert Tokens including some very basic ones like contact first name, contact last name, etc.

The tokens work if manually typed in but my users aren't capable of memorizing these.

I've search these forums, the Admin Guide, and the internet without luck. I can't seem to find a good guide about where the stock tokens are stored and how to access, enable, or disabled their display.

Advice or links to info appreciated!  :)

these should just be available by default - can you check on demo and see if you get the expected outcome - and see if you can spot any patterns if yours is different

Huh. Well, today they appear, and they match the demo. I'll monitor this to see if it crops up again.

I recently had to change some permissions in my drupal files/ directory, including permissions on files/civicrm/, so perhaps that was the issue.
