CiviEvents - Hiding Top Registration Link

When we create new events using a template it displays two buttons on the page derived from the Registration Link Text on the Online Registration form. We only want the bottom button to display but not the top. I know I can set the CSS for crm-actionlinks-top to display: none but wondered if there was a setting where I could change this.

There is no setting in the UI to do what you want.
