so that someone can easily flag if they are a CMS Noob v Accomplished

Might help us know how to steer esp newer users if we knew about about their abilities/experience

Seems like some info about skill set / role with regard to Civi might be good. How about the Role checkboxes we use elsewhere:
[ ] User
[ ] Administrator
[ ] Implementor
[ ] Developer

... would that accomplish what you're trying to get at ?

Hi Dave - perhaps except an Integrator might still be a noob.

I often am not sure when making suggestions whether to assume the person is well versed in either civi or cms. It obviously helps when posters say eg I am a Noob but know Drupal inside out. etc.

So something like:

[  ] CMS beginner
[  ] CMS experienced
[  ] CiviCRM beginner
[  ] CiviCRM experienced

is what you are looking for?

And maybe add

[  ] User/Administrator
[  ] Integrator/Developer

to give an indication of their interest in a code or UI solution?

Yes that seems like a good way to cut it.
