Hello,

Is it possible to speedup CiviCRM, for example the search-box on the upper left.

Thanks

Have you gone to Administer > Customize Data and Screens > Search Preferences and disabled all the search options that you don't need and reduced the number of fields that are searched or displayed to the minimum you require.

Try installing this extension, if you can live with only email and name, it's way faster and "smarter", for instance you can search on "ala" and it will put zazi, alanis before galager, bob or if you search for "xavier d" it will find "dutoit, xavier" instead of returning an empty list.

This is assuming you have a xavier dutoit in your CRM. You should, we never have enough.

My good fellow, once you install it, you take the oath of silence and you do not leave the family. alive at least.

Of course you can uninstall, it's a regular extension and doesn't touch anything in the db. and yes, works on 4.4.4
