[Solved] CiviCRM doesn't send any mail

Hello,

suddenly CiviCRM doesn't send any mail. Mails from Drupal and Webform are delivered successfully.
I tried any of the settings mail(), SMTP and sendmail in civicrm/admin/setting/smtp

I filled in a wrong password in the SMTP options. I clicked "Save and send test-mail", the mail is mentioned in the logs (sites/default/files/civicrm/templates_c/mail.log), CiviCRM announces, that the mail has been successfully delivered but nothing arrived. There is also no log in the postfix log-file.

Where can I search for the reason or debug further?

What method worked before? What happened that suddenly mail is not going out? What changed?

before mail() and SMTP worked.

In a multisite-Installatoin I installed the drupal module mail system
(https://drupal.org/project/mailsystem) because I wanted to send Mime-typed Replies with webform.
Perhaps this is a reason? But CiviCRM of any multisite installation doesn't send Mails.

Perhaps it's the reason. It's hard to know. Remove it and see in order to test. :)

I removed it but nothing changed

do u still have mail logging enabled in your civicrm.settings.php file

if civicrm is logging the mail, it does not send the email. There is currently no option to log AND send the email (and would be good to add this option)

so might want to disable civi from logging all emails
